Manage optical character recognition (OCR) service with ACB OCR Platform

Introduction

ACB is one of the largest banks in Vietnam. While working at VNG Digital Business, especially the VNG AI Platform product, my company coordinated with ACB to develop an Optical Character Recognition web tool to save time for ACB departments during the data extraction process.

OCR (optical character recognition) is the use of technology to distinguish printed or handwritten text characters inside digital images of physical documents, such as a scanned paper document.
As the Product Designer at VNG AI Platform, I led the design, user testing and development of this project from end to end. I collaborated with 2 software engineers during the early ideation stage and the lead product manager from ACB - Mr. Nguyen Van Thi throughout the entire project.
